Living where you were born does not guarantee a sense of belonging. Yet moving to another country, far from resolving the feeling of not fitting in, often makes it more apparent. Issues regarding identity, difference, and the place one occupies in the world can take on new dimensions during the migration experience.
Loneliness, constant need to adapt, and the effort required to be understood in a different language or culture often lead to distress and exhaustion.
Psychoanalysis offers a space to explore these experiences, understand the repetitive patterns running through one's life story, and forge a more personal relationship with one's own desire. Before finding your place abroad, it is essential to find your place within yourself.
About me
Psychoanalyst, neurodivergent, bonus mother (and pet mom), biracial, and migrant. Born in Minas Gerais, Brazil, I currently live in Germany. Licensed in Brazil since 2020, with training focused on contemporary psychoanalysis and listening to each person individually.
Before working in the clinic, I served as a legal consultant and mediator. Those experiences strengthened my listening skills, my keen observation of human complexities, and my commitment to ethical care in relationships.
My practice is built upon respect for each person's history, acceptance of psychological suffering, and a belief in the possibility of transformation through self-knowledge and self-acceptance.
Nothing is more precious to me professionally than honoring the hope that each person brings to the clinic, with presence, ethics, foundation, and depth.
